About me
My name is Nicky Brettell. I am a fully qualified and insured Reflexologist and Reiki Practitioner.
I initially qualified as a Reiki practitioner through the Jikiden Reiki Institute (UK Association). I then qualified as a Reflexologist having studied a one year, fully accredited course, at the Pathways School of Reflexology in Norwich where I successfully gained a SEG Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology for Wellbeing.
I am based in the lovely, picturesque village of Docking, North Norfolk and my practice is located in a beautiful garden studio.
I discovered the potential benefits of Reflexology and Reiki after leaving university following the completion of my first degree. I have always prioritised my well-being and have found both holistic treatments beneficial in promoting this. I carried on receiving treatments throughout my 30 years in the Education profession. I achieved a PhD in the field of Psychology within adult learning.
Throughout my varied and undeniably stressful career I have personally viewed Reflexology and Reiki as the keystone in the maintenance of my overall feelings of well-being.
The focus of my studio setting is comfort, calm and peace. Clients can expect an extremely comfortable experience throughout our time together.
My studio is located within a garden (no steps to negotiate!) and offers a warm, safe and comfortable environment where you can relax and enjoy your chosen treatment.
I use a top of the range, fully electric massage couch with extremely precise variable knee support.
The couch has some of the thickest and supportive foam available for therapy tables and can be lowered to a level where you can be confident when accessing the couch.
